2 - Memoir of an avid fan

        Hi readers! Today, my topic would be all about Adam Young and his avid fan, which am me. Let me first introduce him. Adam Randal Young is an American singer, songwriter, producer and a multi-instrumentalist. He was best known for creating Owl City. Adam created it while experimenting music in his parents’ basement. He posted songs to MySpace and iTunes, and those songs became popular as well as him. He signed a contract in Universal Republic recording company and released albums that became in demand to the people. From that day, he gained his popularity that made him what he is right now.

Now, I would tell you my story on why, how, and when did I became a fan of Adam Young. It all started back in my 1^st year high school days when one of my friends told me to listen to a song entitled “Honey and the Bee” by Owl City. So, I did. The sounded really well in my ears, I saw a suggested video on Youtube which was Fireflies by the same producer and listened to it too. It was awesome. Suddenly, I don’t know why but I downloaded lotta songs of Owl City. And that… was the start of me becoming a fan of Adam Young. Last May, I watched his free concert at the Bonifacio High Street, though I’m kind of far from the stage because… well, they said it’s a free concert yet if you want to sit in front you’re obliged to buy a ticket worth P1000, I guess. We were like head banging and jumping during the concert. A massive number of people were present in the concert, but at least I got to see him even if it’s far. Well, that night was a blast.

Until now, I listen to his songs every day. His acoustic songs will always be a lullaby whenever I wanted to sleep. If you want to listen to a good music, I’d probably recommend you Owl City’s songs. It’s a mixed of different genres. I know you would love it. So, better try it!
